1.You confirm that the information given on this application form is correct. It is a serious offence to make a false declaration and could result in a criminal prosecution for fraud.

2.Giving you a Tenancy of the property is still subject to contract and our assessment of your suitability as atenant. No tenancy will be created until all occupiers aged 18 or over sign the Tenancy Agreement.

3.If we offer you a Tenancy, the landlord may request a security deposit of up to 2 times the monthly rent. As per the requirements of the Housing Act 2004,ASP shall forward deposit monies to My Deposits Scotland. You will also need to pay your first month's rent before you move in.

4.You can pay the Security Deposit and first month's rent by bacs as long as we receive it at least 5 working days before the date we have agreed for you to move in. Payments paid less than 5 days before you move in must be in cash. Personal cheques will not be accepted. At copy of this standing order for future rent must be provided before keys can be collected for move in.

5.You will be responsible for contacting the utility companies to ensure the gas and electricity are connectedbefore you move in. Remember, it may be difficult to arrange connection at short notice. You will also need to know that you will be responsible for all charges from the date you have agreed to move in.

6.You agree that the information you provide may be used to get credit references to help us assess your application for a Tenancy. Credit reference agencies may record enquiries made about you.

7.Once the Tenancy Agreement begins, if you do not pay the rent, we may tell the credit reference agencies who may record any outstanding rent due against you. We may also tell the credit reference agencies that you have paid your rent.

8.You have provided information about the Guarantor and, as his Agent,you confirm that he/she is aware it will be used to get credit references to assess whether he/she is acceptable to us as a Guarantor of your Tenancy and that the credit reference agencies may record enquiries made about him/her.

9.Your data may be also used for other purposes for which you are giving us your specific permission or, in very limited circumstances, when required by law or where permitted under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not pass on your personal details to any third party without your permission.
